Poland, Warsaw, museum of diving

An actual museum of diving (not a maritime museum) resides in Warsaw at Grzybowska 88. It boasts one of the largest collections in Europe with around 800 objects in its collection and it is worth a long visit. The museum was founded in 2006 by the Warzav diving club. The vast majority of the exhibition has been collected and is owned by Karina Kowalska.

One of the curiosities of the museum is a swedish diving dress and helmet, here presented by Karina Kowalska. Swedish divers worked in polish harbours and their contracts dictated that one diving suit would remain in Poland after the job was complete.
