The European Historical Diving Event 2020 has been postponed due to the corona virus pandemic. We hope to reschedule the event for 15.9. when it will be organised in conjuction with the Turku day as a two-day event (diving and lectures). If you have paid, tell us where to return your payment. European Historical Diving Event is an annual conference organised by Nordic historical diving societies. This year the conference is held in Finland and it lasts for three consecutive days, 22.—24.5. We welcome world-wide attendance with open arms. There will be guiding in english and the lectures should all be in english. Contact us for further detail.
Friday 22.5. is our field trip day, which is concluded as guests of Turku YMCA divers with steam bath and rooftop barbeque. Saturday is reserved for historical diving in an open air pool. The general public can also participate, as the venue is a municipal swimming pool. After diving we will enjoy an evening dinner together.Lectures are held on sunday and they are in english.
Below you will find the programme of the event. We will update it as needed. Registration to the event will be done by email and by paying a non-refundable registration fee. The remainder is due when the conference starts (in cash), but can be paid in advance to the bank, too. The fee is 100€ and it includes friday rooftop barbeque, saturday evening dinner, sunday lunch, and lectures and some local transport.

It will be possible to register to the whole event (fri-sun) or only to diving on saturday or the sunday lectures. The shorter alternatives are for people that might be working on friday and thus cannot participate then and for those on a budget.
